Hydroxypinacolone retinoate (HPR) is an ester of retinoic acid and binds directly to the skin retinoic acid receptors which minimizes the chance of reactions. Glycolic acid is an alphahydroxy acid originally derived from sugar cane and has become one of the most popular alphahydroxy acids used in skincare products. Apply to cleansed skin every second to third night, or as directed by your cosmetic doctor, dermatologist, or skincare professional. Some skin types can tolerate more regular use. When using more frequently, please follow the introductory phase skin regime below.
